We have a range of reclaimed pine wood flooring that our customers love. These woods range from Eastern White Pine to White Oak. We have a special process that allows us to remove the old wood flooring from its original home without causing damage to the old wood. Which gives us the quality, undamaged wood that will soon, hopefully, end up in your beautiful home.
How we get our wood
We have a group of our people that go out and around Michigan. They are talking to homeowners that are looking to either get new flooring or are tearing down their home. We ask them if they are willing to donate their old flooring to us, if they are, we remove the flooring for them. Our special process helps us retrieve the most wood from a house with little to no damage to the wood. We get all different kinds of wood donated but it is mostly reclaimed pine wood flooring that we receive.
Pumpkin Pine
We have found throughout the years that the most popular type of wood that our customers want is Eastern White Pine. This Pine can range from light to dark in color but over time it starts to becomes a warm orange in color, therefore people giving it the name “Pumpkin Pine.” Our customers love this pine for the warm color that the wood gives to whatever room the pine goes in.
Heart Pine
Heart Pine is another customer favorite for its wide verity of colors and different grains it can have. It is extremely dense with tight growth ring counts. Heart Pine can also have can also have a distressed look depending on what the wood has gone through in its lifetime. Some of this wood can have marks from being circle sawn, some have more knots and defects, and some have nail holes. All this distressing gives this Pine a very unique look and will fit in just about any home because of its uniqueness.
