Acquiring recycled materials is the process of how we collect resources. Salvage Michigan uses a variety of resources such as reclaimed brick and wood, among plenty of others. However, it is important to our company that we promote ways we are collecting recycled materials in order to receive plenty of resources.
Process
The process of collecting resources is easy to use for anyone looking to get rid of old materials. First, the customer must contact Salvage Michigan to fill out a form regarding the resources they want to donate. This helps so that we are able to keep inventory on the resources that we have received. Then, our company will send a group of employees to pick up the materials you donated to bring back to our warehouse. Lastly, the customer does not have to pay a single dime for the pick up and we will do all the necessary work during the actual collection.
Materials
The materials we use at Salvage Michigan include: Veneklasen brick, reclaimed wood, and much more. People willing to donate these materials are more than welcome to give us a call. The materials we collect are used for future projects and are reused once more. Brick is our most common resource and many times is acquired from homes or buildings that have been knocked down. Our wood is usually donated from old projects or wooden homes, where the wood is no longer wanted. These resources are crucial to our business and we really appreciate everyone who wishes to donate. Please contact us if you wish to know more!
Benefits
There are many benefits of acquiring recycled materials and the ability to use these materials for many projects. Some of these benefits include: reusing materials are better for the environment, cheaper alternatives for projects, and creativity. This means that being able to recycle materials is important for a healthy environment. Along with being good for the environment, collecting recycled resources is easier for individuals who are looking to get rid of reused bricks or wood. Since materials are used at a cheaper price than new materials, this makes it more affordable and offering uncommon materials for individuals. Thus, using new materials for building projects helps develop a creative touch that you do not see today.
